Clinical Approach
Hello! I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) with a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs. In my practice, I prioritize a slow, steady approach to therapy. I believe that true healing begins with a foundation of safety and a strong therapeutic relationship. I view our work as entirely collaborative; you are the master of your own story, and my role is to follow your lead while helping you uncover patterns and navigate roadblocks. I blend this relational focus with CBT interventions to help you challenge automatic thoughts, gain new perspectives, and build practical everyday skills.
While I have a background in play therapy, my practice now focuses primarily on adults. I am passionate about working with EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) and OCD/ERP (Exposure and Response Prevention), and I am actively continuing my training to specialize deeply in these areas. If you are struggling with trauma, intrusive thoughts, or anxiety, I am committed to helping you increase your emotional regulation, break free from unhelpful cycles, and build lasting resilience.
My practice is built on a foundation of respect, and I am proud to provide a strictly nonjudgmental, LGBTQIA+-safe, kink-allied, and consensual non-monogamy-friendly environment where you can show up exactly as you are. No matter your background or identity, my goal is to ensure a safe, respectful space for your growth.
Whether you are navigating chronic stressors, trauma, or complex anxiety, it would be an honor to collaborate with you on your journey toward healing and greater self-awareness.
