About Forge IOP

Intensive outpatient programming (IOP) is a level of behavioral health care designed for teens who require more support than traditional outpatient services offer, but less than residential or inpatient treatment. At Forge, it consists of 9+ hours of care per week for 8 weeks.

Those hours include group sessions for adolescents and parenting skills groups for caregivers. The goal is to help adolescents manage their mental health needs and build lasting stability, without disrupting their schedules.

Our Approach

Our program is rooted in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) which is an evidence-based approach that empowers teens to build essential coping skills, process life challenges, and begin meaningful healing. Skills building is focused in four main areas:

Abstract geometric design with a circle, a ring, and a central circle in shades of teal, blue, and maroon on a light blue background, representing mindfulness.

Our Space

Our inviting space is part of what sets Forge IOP apart from other similar programs. It is intentionally designed to be welcoming and warm. We believe that cultivating a supportive and friendly space allows teens to feel comfortable and confident as they heal and grow.

Living room with beige and gray furniture, pillows, gallery wall of framed art and quotes, lamp, plant, window with blinds, and decorative rug.

Teens can expect to enjoy cozy seating, warm beverages and snacks every session.

Forge IOP Team

Our team believes teens heal best in spaces where they feel safe, supported, and understood. Our team is intentional about creating an environment that is welcoming, collaborative, and free from stigma. We meet teens where they are and walk alongside them as they build resilience, skills, and confidence.
