Clinical Approach

As a couples and family therapist intern, my clinical approach is rooted in a humanistic, person-centered framework that prioritizes empathy, unconditional positive regard, and authenticity. I believe that meaningful and impactful therapeutic change can happen in a safe and collaborative environment where clients feel deeply seen, heard, and are free to explore. My clinical experience includes Emotion Focused Therapy (EFT) with couples, supporting partners in identifying and transforming emotional patterns to foster a deeper connection. Additionally, I have integrated cognitive behavioral therapy strategies in family-work to allow for development of communication, managing anxiety, and building resilience.
