Clinical Approach
I am a true believer that a therapist's job is to provide a calm, supportive, and understanding space for each client. I strive to allow every person to come in as their authentic self, and have them leave feeling heard, seen, and valued. My approach to therapy is rooted in the importance of relationships and connections, as well as highlighting the clients inherent strength and resilience. As a therapist, I want to promote connection with the outdoors as a form of therapy, allowing people to explore the mental, emotional, and physical benefits of time in nature. Utilizing a person-centered approach, I am confident in my baseline approach of meeting each client with understanding, support, and compassion. I see clients of all ages and I am trained in play therapy to help provide evidenced based therapy support for young children.
