A woman with blonde hair and light skin, wearing a blue denim shirt, sitting on a red upholstered armchair in front of a wooden bookshelf. She is resting her face on her left hand and smiling softly.

Clinical Approach

Relationships are necessary and influential parts of every person’s life. Healthy interpersonal relationships are fulfilling and life-enhancing. However, every relationship is bound to encounter problems. My understanding of the importance of relationships spurs my passion for working with couples, families, and individuals who are experiencing relational struggles.

Through a systemic lens, I consider how different areas of a client's life both affect and are affected by a presenting issue. I utilize a blend of emotionally focused, experiential, and insight-oriented approaches.

I strive to create a genuine, non-judgmental environment where clients feel deeply understood and safe to show up as their authentic selves. Oftentimes, clients are already equipped with the abilities needed to resolve their issues. It may simply take a therapeutic nudge to unlock newfound ways of understanding and relating to oneself and others.
