Clinical Approach
I am currently pursuing my master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs (UCCS). I enjoy working with women, immigrants, young adults, and individuals navigating trauma, anxiety, ADHD. life transitions, relationship concerns and identity exploration. I offer therapy in English and Turkish. I use an integrative, existential and traume informed approach because I truly believe every person is different and there is no one right way to do therapy. Everyone has different needs, personalities, experiences, and goals, so I like to adapt my style to fit the person in front of me. A lot of this comes from my own life experiences. I have lived in four different countries adn travelled all around the world, and every move required me to adapt in some way. I have met people from many different cultures, backgrounds, and walks of life, and those experiences made me very open-minded and aware of how differently people experience the world. Outside the therapy room, you can usually find me traveling, gaming, crocheting, or spending time with my cat Arya and my pup Appa.
