Clinical Approach
I primarily work with adult individuals who experience anxiety, disordered eating, mood dysregulation, existential concerns, complex trauma and relationship troubles. I incorporate strength-based methods, because I believe that therapy can open a realm of both healing and personal exploration/growth. I see myself as an ally to the LGBTQIA+ community and am hoping to continue that allyship in the therapeutic context.Beginning the journey to self-exploration and healing can be intimidating and exhausting.
However, I believe that my role as a counselor is to help provide a safe space to process through both difficult and joyous life experiences. I believe that you are the only expert on yourself, which will allow us to work collaboratively to pursue therapy methods that are salient and helpful for you. I am passionate about being an advocate and a lifelong-learner, because in this work, there is always more we can learn about ourselves and human experiences.
