Who we are:
A multidisciplinary team that offers individual, group, family, and relationship counseling to a diverse client population. Three leadership team members have their PhDs in Counselor Education and Supervision. We are dedicated to training and developing counselors that are passionate about their own training and development! At Forge, you will have a supervisor who deeply cares about your interpersonal and professional growth, and will expect that you do too! Our supervision team comprises of LPC's, LMFT's LCSW's & RPT's with additional training and certifications to include EMDr, Emotion Focused Therapy, Gottman, Play Therapy, and Sand Tray Therapy. Just as we help encourage our clients to change and grow, we are also team-oriented towards our own professional growth.
What we are looking for:
We are interested in counselors in training, that are looking to really invest in their clinical growth across the counselor developmental spectrum. An ideal candidate would be able to demonstrate clinical skills in working with clients, self-awareness, and openness to feedback. Those who want to be a part of and integrate into our collective team of passionate clinicians. We are especially interested in folks who have previous work experience outside of the private practice setting and are interested in community engagement.
We are a team and family! Counselor development is also about the development of the self, and we nourish both. There are several opportunities for continued development outside of the therapy chair. There is a lot more to private practice than just seeing clients, and that is reflected in your training.
